Established in 1925, Argosy is probably the best rainy day printed matter experience where you can spend hours and repeated days exploring rows antiquarian books, flat files 19th-20th century maps and illustrations and auction and exhibition  catalogues on any conceivable subject matter.  They have interior decorators and architects who search for materials for their clients and design inspiration. Argosy is a wonderful treasure chest where you will always be surprised by what you can discover.
