2024 will be the third time ALIX will visit Provence. During each tour, we have discovered something new about familiar sites as well as transformative experiences at new destinations. Provence always shares its magic!
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
We will return to Anselm Kiefer’s La Ribaute - the artist’s studio-estate in Barjac just north of Avignon. It consists of more than 70 art installations resulting in one breathtaking turn after another. A humbling experience to be in the presence of genius!
Arles will be our base once again with visits to neighboring cultural sites Each year LUMA and Chateau La Coste present immersive works of art that engage and sometimes provoke. We will take a day trip further south to Marseilles which has an exceptional mixture of history and contemporary art not to mention the seafood and time by the Mediterranean.
For those of you who did not join one of the first two tours, I urge you to come along. This is a delicious and magical part of France that keeps drawing us back.
