AN ART FILLED DAY IN BUCKS COUNTY

Stay Tuned for new date - 8:30AM TO 7:00PM

The ALIX Experience is delighted to share this wonderful day in Bucks County that will introduce us to the ways in which the area has served as inspiration for artisans and artists over the past 100 years. Our day will begin and end in New York where we will be transported by a luxury SUV.

Our first stop will be to the historic Moravian Pottery & Tile Works Museum (LEFT) which created hand- made “artistic” tiles expressing the ideals of the American Arts and Crafts Movement. We will explore the decorative halls and historic workshop throughout the grounds of the museum. The tiles are still being produced today and we will walk through the production line to see craftsmen at work and at the end we will be able to do a little shopping.

After our tour we will take a short drive to Durham Press (RIGHT), a well known publisher of limited edition prints, multiples, and unique works by artists including Jacob Hashimoto, Mickalene Thomas and Polly Apfelbaum. We'll learn about printing techniques and if we are lucky, we might even see an edition production. It also will be a great time to add to your collection!! Ann Marshall, who founded and owns the press with her husband, will be our personal guide.

Later in the afternoon, we will either do a studio visit with a local artist or stop at ArtYard in Frenchtown. It will be a wonderful full day to celebrate creative spirits. We hope you can join us.
