Timing is everything. 2024 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Impressionism. The Impressionists were revolutionary in their preference for painting outdoors in natural light with landscapes, towns and scenes of daily life as their subjects.
TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
The tour will begin in Paris and then we will move on to Honfleur, a village on the banks of the Seine, where many artists like Boudin and Monet created some of their most important iconic work. We will take day trips around the Normandy region to travel to see Le Havre, Rouen and Giverny. Throughout the tour we will visit historic sites and see special exhibitions that will commemorate this 150th anniversary!
