The ALIX Experience along with Les Ateliers Courbet, invite you to a retrospective exhibition of works by the famous Austrian glass-maker, Lobmeyr. Co-curated with design expert Murray Moss and coinciding with the 50th anniversary of Lobmeyr’s installation of the Metropolitan’s Opera’s iconic “Starburst” chandeliers, the exhibition will bring together Lobmeyr's iconic and extensive collection of drinking sets. Highlighting the significant design collaborations and exceptional craftsmanship carried-on by the family-owned crystal manufacturers since 1823. The objects on display present the marriage between impeccable Viennese craftsmanship and visionary designs spanning the creations of past and contemporary luminaries in such fluidity that is seldom seen today.

Unrivaled in today‘s world for its subtlety and sophistication, ALIX members will have the opportunity to not only purchase a Lobmeyr piece but also have it specially engraved on site at the gallery by their master engraver from Vienna.

Following the exhibit, there is will be a small dinner. Details to follow.
