If you are heading to hear music at Carnegie or Zankel Halls, Trattoria dell’Arte is the perfect place to stop either before or after a performance. While the main dining room is always buzzing before performances, the bar area (run most nights by a fun bartender named Cynthia) or the antipasto counter are perfect places to pause and take a moment for yourself to relax after a long day or refresh before heading out again. The antipasto bar is known for having one of the largest selections in New York City and you can easily do a vegetarian meal or select fish or meats. The menu has a lot of favorites that are solid and well prepared. While not a stylish place, it is well worn, very popular, and tried and true!
