This restaurant is located in the historic Shoreditch Town Hall building with a discreet neutral dark blue door marking the entrance. The same blue color reappears inside, both on the tiles in the open kitchen and within the main bar, where you can grab a seat and enjoy a variety of small bits on the menu. The rest of the space is casual and minimal, with wooden tables and chairs, surrounded by  white walls. The tasting menu offers innovative British cuisine and ingredients, such as blood pudding with apple and chicory relish or roast Cornish Pollock with carrots, seaweed and orange butter. The clever dishes demonstrate an attention to detail. Please note that this restaurant has adopted the Tock system, so you will have to pre-purchase the tasting menu in advance.
