During this fun intensive workshop, participants will discover a variety of paper cutting applications, and how it can applied to creating “wearables” such as a bracelet, necklace, earrings or even a majestic piece of clothing. Each guest will conceive and produce unique papercuts while unleashing their inner creativity. With no experience necessary, you will learn the tips and tricks to creating your own paper-cutting masterpiece,

Dating back to second century China, the spread of paper brought the art of paper cutting in Chinese folk art. A common art form at the time was chuāng huā, or window paper flowers. The paper cuttings would be displayed in windows letting light spill through the flowers, and creating flower shadows. Mainly used during festivals, paper cuttings represented luck and happiness.
