This acclaimed off-Broadway theatre has produced over 150 new theatrical works since 1979, notably Jonathan Larson’s Rent, Claudia Shear’s Dirty Blonde. Every season, NYTW commissions 4 new productions, over 80 staged readings and numerous workshop productions to over 45,000 audience members. Their productions have received numerous awards, including a Pulitzer Prize and 17 Tony Awards.
