The Museum of Chinese in America (MOCA)was founded in 1980 in the vibrant and culturally rich neighborhood of Chinatown. MOCA focuses is on preserving and presenting Chinese American history, heritage and culture, as well as the experiences of Chinese Americans in the United States.

MOCA's mission is to promote a dialogue and understanding of diverse backgrounds through its exhibits and cultural programming.
