We discovered this wonderful shop just by chance and found it hard to leave. La Fromagerie's Marylebone shop is peaceful and filled with many objects of interests from fresh seasonal produce, charcuterie, jams and chutneys, freshly baked breads, oils and vinegars, books, wines, tabletop accessories and of course, the cheese room, which has cheeses from artisans all over the world. You can always have a light meal with cheese and wine or a fuller meal. Monday nights offer a special prix fixe menu and Friday evenings ring in the weekend fun with fondue. This is the perfect place to read the book you might have purchased a few blocks away at Daunt or to catch up with emails. La Fromagerie is the neighborhood place you wish you could take home.
