The stunning frontispiece of St. Pancras Railway Station is the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel, an architectural masterpiece that epitomizes the elegance and grandeur of nineteenth-century London. Special features include a red brick façade, an 82-meter-tall clock tower, grand staircases, walls elaborately decorated with gold leaf fleur-de-lis, roaring fireplaces, pointed arches and ogee molding found in medieval palaces and churches.

Once known as the Midland Grand Hotel, this impressive landmark continues to welcome visitors to London as the United Kingdom’s Eurostar hub. There are two dining experiences that offset the opulence with their welcoming warmth: The Gilbert Scott, named for the building’s original designer, is an exquisite setting for a formal dining room with white tablecloths and silver service. If you are in the mood for a more casual evening, the Booking Office Bar and Restaurant is more relaxed, with small tables flanked with comfortable leather seats and loose pillows: perfect for the solo diner! Light filters through the magnificent stained-glass windows and high ceilings, encapsulating British Victorian grandeur.
