It’s always a special time Paris when FIAC, the contemporary artfair brings art from around the world. Once again, ALIX is delighted to present our two part evening with a private tour of the Marais art galleries followed by dinner and then a private tour of the fair the following day!

Our Paris-based art experts will be your guide along with a small group of ALIX members and friends.

EVENING TOUR OF MARAIS ART GALLERIES

One of the most festive times during FIAC is on Thursday evening when all of the art galleries are open until 23:00. We love this evening for its spirit and informal atmosphere. ALIX is offering a curated tour of the galleries in the Marais, which are dotted along its narrow streets and courtyards. Only a true Parisian knows the ins and outs, and our resident art expert will guide our small group of members through some of the prettiest gallery spaces imaginable. Our tour will be met by our resident guide in the courtyard of a nearby gallery. At ALIX, we know just how exciting and overwhelming seeing so much wonderful art can be, so we will arrange a special dinner for members to continue the evening - and conversation - with our guide at a restaurant in the area.

ALIX TOUR OF FIAC

What sets FIAC apart is its setting at the iconic Grand Palais, where 175 galleries from 26 countries present art to add to your collection. This year FIAC will extend to the Petit Palais, across the street, where site-specific installations by 37 artists will be presented. ALIX invites you on a guided tour of FIAC, highlighting some of the galleries and key artists of interest. The afternoon will begin at 16:00 with a coupe de champagne at the Mini Palais, hosted by a team member of ALIX Paris. Followed by an in depth tour lead by our resident art expert and native Parisian, of both the Grand and Mini Palais, lasting about 3 hours.
