World-renowned chef Angela Hartnett is recognized for building upon her Italian heritage and blending it with Britain’s resources. Café Murano, which now boasts two locations, one in St. James and the other in Convent Garden, captures the delicious flavors and welcoming atmosphere of her first restaurant, Murano, for which she earned a Michelin star. The pastas are among the best we have tasted. With continuous dining at the Covent Garden location, it is a perfect place to dine on either side of a theatre performance or while visiting nearby museums. The St. James location draws a more business-oriented crowd and is available during more traditional lunch and dinner times. Each location is very popular and they take reservations for the bar. Once seated, you may start up a conversation with the friendly bartenders or a fellow diner and happily enjoy the vivacious environment and delectable food.
