The place for poet's - as their tagline so aptly reads - the Bowery Poetry Club, founded in 2002 as a poetry performance space continues to be a great literary gathering spot. Since its founding, the club has been a popular meeting place for artists and aspiring artists. The club's mission is to encourage cooperation among and advancement of artists and cultural workers; to develop and produce works by emerging poets and performers; and to promote the exploration, improvement, and advancement of the arts as a change-making force in society.
