Bar Boulud, perfectly situated across from Lincoln Center in a cavern-like space, is ideal for a pre- or post-show drink or meal. The space is designed to resemble a swanky wine cellar and the long room is furnished with blonde-wooden booths and a first-come-first-serve bar. The chalk-colored walls are decorated with framed renderings of tablecloth stains of famous French wines. This is significant, as wine is the centerpiece of Bar Boulud’s casual-dining model. The food is effortlessly comforting with brasserie staples such as escargots, steak frites and coq au vin, not to be outdone by their extensive charcuterie platters.
