It’s that time of year! As lovers of contemporary art, we look forward each year to the arrival of Spring and back to back art events in New York, starting with the arrival of The Armory Show. As one of the most celebrated art destinations, the show allows the public to discover a wide range of important Modern and contemporary works of art. 

What sets The Armory Show apart is the setting at Piers 92 & 94, where 200 of the most influential galleries from 30 countries around the world are gathered. The exhibition this year will walk you through five distinct exhibitor sections, where you can learn about the 20th century established masters to the next generation of emerging artists.  

ALIX offers an evening tour of The Armory Show, with Paul Vinet, an art historian and artist. Vinet worked in galleries in Paris, New York and Washington DC for more than 15 years, as well as Senior Associate of Suzanne Randolph Fine Arts for 7 years. Paul will take you to a selection of must see booths and show you a panorama of the contemporary art scene today from blue chip to younger talent . You will learn about the unique approach each artist brings to their creative expression and their artistic influences. We know this special evening will be the highlight of your week.
