Built in 1880 as the headquarters for the 7th New York Militia Regiment, a very elite corps, the Armory has undergone a major restoration in the last six years to maintain its history and adapt its 55,000 square foot Wade Thompson Drill Hall as a space for site-specific art installations, exhibitions and performances.
