ALIX READS

There is no better way to begin making an unfamiliar city familiar than by reading about it. However, here at ALIX we understand that as you prepare for your trip you may not have the time to search through the narrow stacks of your local bookstore, so to help we have prepared a hand-selected books list for you. In this section, ALIX has contacted independent local book sellers in each of our launch cities (New York, San Francisco, London, and Paris) to pull together a list of their favorite books about their city. These bookstores are local institutions with deep connections and are considered literary repositories, with their own stories as unique as the written works they recommend!

While we will always be sharing new titles, we hope that ALIX Reads will be a place where we can hear from you about what books have helped you get to know a city. If you have a recommendation, please share it with us!
