The French luxury bakery was founded in 1862 and today has its flagship on the Champs-Elysées and nearly 100 locations around the world. Ladurée is internationally renowned for its beautifully-presented French pastries and colorful macarons that come in a variety of flavors. Luckily for visitors in New York, the luxury French bakery has two locations in New York—Soho and the Upper East Side. The SoHo location, opened in 2014, serves as both a retail store offering a wide range of Ladurée products and a full-service restaurant serving French-inspired breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails! The restaurant includes 2 large dining rooms and a beautiful, tree-accented outdoor terrace. As far as their celebrated macarons go, our favorite flavors are rose, pistachio and earl grey—simple, light, and delicious. Perfect as a gift or to indulge in all on your own.
