FLOWER SCHOOL NEW YORK

Who doesn’t love a beautifully composed arrangement of flowers? It’s art that requires an understanding of materials and the magical juxtaposition of textures, colors and scale.

With the holiday season fast approaching, we invite ALIX members to enjoy a special holiday workshop at Flower School New York.

Years ago the esteemed Ariella Chezar began her career in floral design by selling wreaths and narcissus during the holiday season. Join Ariella in this fun workshop class to revel in the season and make your own winter wreath or garland using harvested evergreens, juniper, dried fruits and berries.

ALIX has made several visits to this exquisite oasis in the heart of the city. Eileen Johnson is the founder of the school and has developed throughout the years classes and intensive programs that draw students from all parts of the world. The beauty of the floral materials and the space inspire creative expressions and for so many of us opens up a new world to explore.

This studio class provides the opportunity to create a beautiful, seasonal arrangement- just in time for the holiday - while learning some tips and tricks of design.  Celebrate the season and the senses with this fun holiday workshop. Seasonal libations will be served!
