Sometimes called the “Lungs of the City”, Central Park continues to be a much-needed natural respite from the buzzing city. With its curving paths and hills, the park contains many attractions such as the Bethesda Fountain and Terrace, which overlooks the lake and Strawberry Fields, a 2.5-acre landscaped section dedicated to the memory of former Beatles member, John Lennon. During the summer, Central Park’s seasonal outdoor venue, Summerstage, offers a range of concerts.
